Nominated Person Crew Training –
Helicopter (NPCT)
Kitz-Air GmbH is an EASA-certified airline specializing in helicopter operations in the areas of commercial transport, special missions, and external load flights. To strengthen our management team and further develop our training organization, we are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to serve as the Nominated Person for Crew Training – Helicopter (NPCT) in accordance with ORO.GEN.110 / ORO.GEN.210 / ORO.AOC.135.
Your tasks
Training & Standards
- Responsibility for the development, maintenance, and implementation of the training program for flight and ground crew
- Ensuring compliance with all requirements in accordance with Regulation No. 965/2012, Part-ORO, Part-ORO.FC, and AMC/GM
- Defining and monitoring flight and simulator training (AFTO/FFS/FSTD)
- Standardizing and supervising Type Rating Instructors (TRI), Flight Instructors (FI), and Examiners (TRE/FE), as well as
Supervising pilots
- Conducting internal training, verification, and recurrent checks
- Ensuring the validity of the required ratings
- Timely implementation of changes resulting from operations, safety, regulatory changes, improvements, etc., upon which operations are based.
- Resource planning and optimization: Planning and managing training resources, including simulators, instructors, and facilities, to ensure cost-efficiency and alignment with corporate goals.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensuring compliance of all training activities with the approved Operations Manual (OM-D / OM-A)
- Close collaboration with Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management
- Preparation, support, and successful execution of regulatory training audits (Austro Control/EASA)
Your profile
- Commercial pilot (CPL(H) or ATPL(H)) with extensive experience in commercial helicopter operations
- Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating procedures
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable position in the aviation industry
- Several years of operational flight experience on at least one of our aircraft types (e.g., H125/H130/H145/W3-A/B412/AS332 or comparable)
- Valid TRI or FI rating
- In-depth knowledge of EASA requirements (Part-ORO, Part-FCL, AMC/GM)
- Experience in developing and administering training programs
- High sense of responsibility, leadership qualities, and a structured work style
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
